The bolt-coupling in the drop deck enables the use of one or multiple extension beams.
About double drop trailers
A double drop has two steps: one behind the neck and one ahead of the rear axles, forming a low well in the middle. The well sits close to the ground and typically runs 25 to 29 feet, which is where tall, heavy items ride — presses, transformers, compact cranes. Detachable and fixed-neck versions exist, and extendable wells handle over-length pieces.
