The 40 Ton Detachable Gooseneck Trailer is built for serious hauling with a focus on strength, versatility, and ease of operation. Rated at 98,500 lbs. GVWR with an 80,000 lb. capacity in a 16 ft. span or greater, this trailer is engineered with four cambered high-tensile steel main beams and a durable 2" oak floor to handle demanding loads day in and day out. The 29’ standard well, 102” wide deck (expandable to 126”), and low 20” loaded deck height provide excellent stability and flexibility for a wide range of equipment. Its hydraulic, non-ground bearing detachable gooseneck allows for quick loading with multiple swing clearances, while air ride suspension and heavy-duty 25K axles ensure a smooth, controlled ride. Equipped with full air brakes, ABS, sealed wiring, LED lighting, and premium Sherwin-Williams finish, this trailer is designed to perform reliably in tough conditions while maintaining a clean, professional look.

About removable gooseneck trailers
A removable gooseneck trailer is a lowboy whose front neck detaches — hydraulically or mechanically — so the deck rests on the ground and becomes its own ramp. Tracked and low-clearance machines drive on from the front without separate ramps or a dock. RGNs are the default choice for excavators over 30 tons, and the format scales with added axles, jeeps and boosters into the 100-ton-plus range for permitted loads.
