The 55 Ton Detachable Gooseneck Air Ride Trailer – Standard is built to handle serious heavy-haul demands with strength, durability, and operator convenience in mind. Rated at 131,000 lbs. G.V.W.R. with a 110,000 lb. capacity in a 12-foot span or greater, this trailer features a 26’ well, 24” loaded deck height, and a full-height fabricated side rail for secure and versatile loading. The frame is engineered with four cambered main beams constructed from 100 KSI (T1) and 80 KSI high tensile steel, delivering exceptional structural integrity under load. Equipped with a hydraulic removable non-ground bearing gooseneck with adjustable load blocks and swing clearances from 89”–107”, it comes standard set up for wet line operation. A durable 2” oak floor, forged D-rings, and fixed front ramps provide dependable tie-down and loading performance, while the air ride suspension, air lift third axle, and all-wheel air brakes with 4S/2M ABS ensure smooth, controlled transport. About removable gooseneck trailers
A removable gooseneck trailer is a lowboy whose front neck detaches — hydraulically or mechanically — so the deck rests on the ground and becomes its own ramp. Tracked and low-clearance machines drive on from the front without separate ramps or a dock. RGNs are the default choice for excavators over 30 tons, and the format scales with added axles, jeeps and boosters into the 100-ton-plus range for permitted loads.
