Overview
The Landoll 860’s versatility originates in its primary standard features. The innovative 4-beam frame features a loaded height of 19-1/2″. The 860 is a 3-axle trailer frame with standard hinge brackets and hookups for an additional flip axle or a Nitrogen Stinger / Spreader Bar. The patented gooseneck attachment design gives the operator easy controls for quick hookup. Two kingpin settings, providing swing clearance of 90″ and 108″, allow three or four axle tractors to maximize their weight distribution. The locking load carrier gives seven different ride height adjustments for additional ground clearance or lowering the deck height. No other gooseneck offers the flexibility and time savings as the Landoll 800 Series. For heavy loads, the base trailer comes standard with flip axle brackets and air/electrical couplers. To move a permit load with ease, an optional flip axle or Nitrogen Stinger / Spread bar establishes a 14-foot spread between axles. The 860 gooseneck is standard with the flip extension brackets. The optional 36” flip extension allows for swing clearance of a two-axle jeep dolly. The Landoll detachable series is work ready with a flattened front approach, apitong wood in the track area, a recessed storage compartment, and swing-out over width extensions. About lowboy trailers
A lowboy drops the deck between the gooseneck and the rear axles, putting the load 18 to 24 inches off the ground. That low center of gravity is what lets tall equipment — excavators, dozers, cranes, drill rigs — travel under bridges without an over-height permit. Fixed-neck lowboys load from the rear or side; detachable-neck models let the machine drive straight on from the front. Typical capacities run 35 to 60 tons, with multi-axle configurations reaching well beyond that.
