The Alpha HD A80MG-E is our 80,000# payload, mechanical gooseneck, double drop, extendable. Some of the standard features the A80MG-E comes with includes, an air assisted gooseneck support arm, 12” crossmember spacing, outriggers, d-rings, and chain drops on the deck. Full suspension adjustment and override controls. Apitong decking, and T1 steel construction. Other capacities and configurations are available upon request. About double drop trailers
A double drop has two steps: one behind the neck and one ahead of the rear axles, forming a low well in the middle. The well sits close to the ground and typically runs 25 to 29 feet, which is where tall, heavy items ride — presses, transformers, compact cranes. Detachable and fixed-neck versions exist, and extendable wells handle over-length pieces.
