The Alpha HD A90HDGC is our 90,000# payload, hydraulic detachable gooseneck double drop. Some of the standard features the A90HDGC come with include, 5 neck ride height settings, 12” crossmember spacing, outriggers and chain drops from the front to rear of the low deck, full suspension adjustment controls, apitong deck, and T1 steel construction. About double drop trailers
A double drop has two steps: one behind the neck and one ahead of the rear axles, forming a low well in the middle. The well sits close to the ground and typically runs 25 to 29 feet, which is where tall, heavy items ride — presses, transformers, compact cranes. Detachable and fixed-neck versions exist, and extendable wells handle over-length pieces.
