This custom-designed ROGERS CobraNeck Series 65-ton capacity drop side deck trailer is packed with features to enhance its usefulness. It features the CobraNeck gooseneck with combines ease of use, durability, and versatility. The trailer is designed to carry its full 130,000 lbs. capacity payload in half the deck length. The modular drop side deck is 27'-0" long and 9'-0" wide with a deck height of approximately 15" when fully loaded. Specially designed wheel wells (3 per side) provide an even lower loaded deck height for large, rubber-tired machines. The hook-and-shaft detachable rear frame can be easily shimmed to adjust deck height or load distribution to the rear frame. Standard features: CobraNeck gooseneck; Hydraulic gooseneck jack with shoe; Hydraulic power source: Tractor PTO; Four-beam cambered design with 15" loaded drop side deck height; Fixed tapered ramp with grouser bars on front of each drop side; 3/8" steel tread plate decking; Total (22) removable side brackets; Total (14) bent lashing D's (7 each side of deck); Full-depth "Bucket Pocket" at rear of deck; Hook-and-shaft style detachable rear frame; "Boom Trough" with "V" style cross members between rear frame beams; Trunnions between wheels with a lashing D on each end; 275/70R22.5 (H) Yokohama low profile radial tires on 22.5 x 8.25 hub piloted wheels (aluminum outer/steel inner); Air brakes, 16 1/2" x 7" shoes/drums: Premium 4S/2M Antilock braking system (ABS); Air lift axle · 3rd axle; Removable/flip 4th axle assembly with air lift; Air dump valve; LED lights: US DOT-approved 12-volt rubber grommet mounted with sealed wiring and 7-wire socket; Remote air tank drain; Epoxy primer; Rogers Red or Black industrial enamel finish coat.

About removable gooseneck trailers
A removable gooseneck trailer is a lowboy whose front neck detaches — hydraulically or mechanically — so the deck rests on the ground and becomes its own ramp. Tracked and low-clearance machines drive on from the front without separate ramps or a dock. RGNs are the default choice for excavators over 30 tons, and the format scales with added axles, jeeps and boosters into the 100-ton-plus range for permitted loads.
