Overview

From Brandt

Heavy Hitter. Introducing the all-new H550 Multi-Axle Beavertail On/Off Highway Transporter from Brandt. This heavy-duty hauler will make a lasting positive impact on your productivity. Its 14 HP EFI engine delivers a 57% faster flow-rate than other options while maintaining maximum lift capacity. That saves you valuable time with faster starts and reduced downtime while ensuring better fuel economy. And, Brandt’s exclusive auto-latch system makes setup quick and easy, so you can hit the road sooner. Add in the low-profile gooseneck for superior trailer payload, and you have the productivity you need to smash the competition. Features: Brandt’s advanced paint protection looks better, lasts longer, and inhibits corrosion for longer trailer life and increased resale value. Reliable design and long-lasting components reduce total cost of ownership. Simple, robust gooseneck connection gets you back on the road faster, even in rough terrain. Three-position ride-height valve is standard equipment and makes it quick and convenient to adapt these trailers to suit any road conditions. Patent-pending booster stability system locks the booster axle when backing up and when travelling over 60km/h for safer, easier handling. Extra-stroke shim legs eliminate pinch points, allowing shims to be safely added or removed while allowing infinite deck-height positions. Remotely-mounted air-tank drain valves make maintenance safer and faster. Non-skid surface treatments on optional deck and rear-frame trough covers ensure better traction for the operator.

About removable gooseneck trailers

A removable gooseneck trailer is a lowboy whose front neck detaches — hydraulically or mechanically — so the deck rests on the ground and becomes its own ramp. Tracked and low-clearance machines drive on from the front without separate ramps or a dock. RGNs are the default choice for excavators over 30 tons, and the format scales with added axles, jeeps and boosters into the 100-ton-plus range for permitted loads.
