Overview
From Brandt
Brandt’s H550 multi-axle square tail on/off highway transporter makes light work of your heavy payloads. Its low tare-weight design is optimized to haul more without the need for permits. And, the low-profile gooseneck allows you to position your load further forward to maximize deck space. Combine a 14 HP EFI engine that delivers a 57% faster flow-rate with unimpeded lift capacity and you have a complete transport solution will pull its weight — and then some. Features: Brandt’s advanced paint protection looks better, lasts longer, and inhibits corrosion for longer trailer life and increased resale value. Reliable design and long-lasting components reduce total cost of ownership. Simple, robust gooseneck connection gets you back on the road faster, even in rough terrain. Three-position ride-height valve is standard equipment and makes it quick and convenient to adapt these trailers to suit any road conditions. Patent-pending booster stability system locks the booster axle when backing up and when travelling over 60km/h for safer, easier handling. Extra-stroke shim legs eliminate pinch points, allowing shims to be safely added or removed while allowing infinite deck-height positions. Remotely-mounted air-tank drain valves make maintenance safer and faster. Non-skid surface treatments on optional deck and rear-frame trough covers ensure better traction for the operator.

About removable gooseneck trailers
A removable gooseneck trailer is a lowboy whose front neck detaches — hydraulically or mechanically — so the deck rests on the ground and becomes its own ramp. Tracked and low-clearance machines drive on from the front without separate ramps or a dock. RGNs are the default choice for excavators over 30 tons, and the format scales with added axles, jeeps and boosters into the 100-ton-plus range for permitted loads.
