Overview
Perimeter Frame trailers are ideal for those in the Commercial Transport, Construction, Implement, and Rental industries. This trailer provides the user with the flexibility to transport multiple pieces of small equipment or one to two large pieces. Felling’s hydraulic folding tail drop deck trailer design also provides ease in the loading of low clearance machines like rollers, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts, with a six-degree (6º) break-over at the end of the main deck. The hydraulic tail provides the operator with the capability of dock loading up to 60″ high. About step deck trailers
A step deck (or drop deck) has a short upper deck over the fifth wheel and a longer lower deck stepped down behind it. The lower deck sits around 36 to 40 inches high — roughly two feet lower than a flatbed — so it carries freight up to about 10 feet tall without an over-height permit. Common lengths are 48 and 53 feet, with ramps optional for wheeled equipment.
