Overview
The Kalyn Siebert MiniDECK meets the needs of specialized crane and rigging machinery movers, the breakbulk, towing and recovery, and energy industries, and in applications where deck height and optimal deck length is a priority. It has a three-beam design that uses a center box beam, allowing a lighter, yet exceptionally strong main deck. About lowboy trailers
A lowboy drops the deck between the gooseneck and the rear axles, putting the load 18 to 24 inches off the ground. That low center of gravity is what lets tall equipment — excavators, dozers, cranes, drill rigs — travel under bridges without an over-height permit. Fixed-neck lowboys load from the rear or side; detachable-neck models let the machine drive straight on from the front. Typical capacities run 35 to 60 tons, with multi-axle configurations reaching well beyond that.
