The Pan Series Skid Steer Trailer is constructed of a structural channel tongue, fabricated steel pan sides, and Jr. I-beam cross members. Pan Series Skid Steer Trailers offer one of the lowest load angles for a ramp trailer in the industry, making them an ideal fit for skid loaders! These drop deck trailers were designed with quality and durability as their main attributes. Four different deck options can be chosen: Pan Smooth Steel (P), Grat-X Mesh (G), Wood (W), or Floor Plate (FP). About step deck trailers
A step deck (or drop deck) has a short upper deck over the fifth wheel and a longer lower deck stepped down behind it. The lower deck sits around 36 to 40 inches high — roughly two feet lower than a flatbed — so it carries freight up to about 10 feet tall without an over-height permit. Common lengths are 48 and 53 feet, with ramps optional for wheeled equipment.
