Overview
From Brandt
Don’t Stop When You’re On a Roll. The all-new S400 Fixed Roll scissorneck trailer from Brandt gives you the flexibility to get more done — no matter where the road takes you. This versatile design uses a single-axle booster to reduce your weight-per-axle, so you can breeze through seasonal road bans unimpeded. It comes equipped with a narrow flip extension, so you can add a jeep to maximize payload capacity while the narrow design minimizes your tare weight, optimizing your performance with any load. Brandt’s innovative flip extension also eliminates the swing clearance issues common among other designs, allowing you to drive on, stress-free. Features: Brandt’s advanced paint protection looks better, lasts longer, and inhibits corrosion for longer trailer life and increased resale value. Reliable design and long-lasting components reduce total cost of ownership. Knife-edge gooseneck profile makes it easy to load low ground-clearance vehicles over the front onto the trailer in the high boy configuration. Kicker rolls are placed between the first and second axles to reduce friction, making loading and unloading short payloads easier and more efficient. Winch and J-hook positioning alternates from side to side, making securing loads easier and more efficient from either side of the trailer. Premium fir decking provides better traction for the operator in wet and frozen conditions, maximizing safety. Work lights are placed in important loading and unloading areas, including in the control box, to make operation easier and safer in adverse conditions. Remotely-mounted air-tank drain valves make maintenance safer and faster.

About removable gooseneck trailers
A removable gooseneck trailer is a lowboy whose front neck detaches — hydraulically or mechanically — so the deck rests on the ground and becomes its own ramp. Tracked and low-clearance machines drive on from the front without separate ramps or a dock. RGNs are the default choice for excavators over 30 tons, and the format scales with added axles, jeeps and boosters into the 100-ton-plus range for permitted loads.
