The VersaMAXX™ trailer features a 100,000 lb capacity and an adjustable hydraulic removable gooseneck (HRG), along with two 20,000 lb capacity winches with wireless remotes that make single-operator loading possible. About lowboy trailers
A lowboy drops the deck between the gooseneck and the rear axles, putting the load 18 to 24 inches off the ground. That low center of gravity is what lets tall equipment — excavators, dozers, cranes, drill rigs — travel under bridges without an over-height permit. Fixed-neck lowboys load from the rear or side; detachable-neck models let the machine drive straight on from the front. Typical capacities run 35 to 60 tons, with multi-axle configurations reaching well beyond that.
